Pour s'évader

To escape

Posted by SNS staff on

After a studious summer at his shop on La Grande Plage in Biarritz, "Aux Guides Baigneurs", Arnaud Mestelan wanted to get some fresh air and enjoy the waves.

To escape.

Eighty on the speedometer, in fourth gear approaching the bend, slight overrun, taking the trajectory, the car leans under the effect of centrifugal force, acceleration, propulsion, the maneuver is carried out without losing the speed and inertia of the previous straight.
A beautiful curve, the turn is behind us.
The car is from 1981, white Mercedes-Benz with cream leather interior.
At the start of the waves, in flexion, the rail in the water, the fin in support, lightening, the board flattens itself on the wall, re-engagement of the rail, as high as possible to take advantage of the gravitational force and gain maximum speed on the descent.
The singletrack won't slow down, the section is over.
The board is a 6'10" white NPJ single.
With that, we dreamed on the roads and on the waves of perfect trajectories.
