The VIPER FINS fin was invented by body surfer Fred Simpson, a local of the famous WEDGE wave in California. In 1981, bodyboarding legend JP Patterson joined the brand as an ambassador and sales manager, and the brand quickly became a leading name in fins for bodyboarders and bodysurfers.
In bodyboarding, we remember Brian Wise, Matt Walbrou, Jeff Hubbard, Kainoa McGee, Fred Booth, Chad Barba in the 90s/2000s.
This modern version is more flexible than the older model, offering greater comfort. It's a fin we recommend to those who prioritize power.
