Un petit surf en Suisse ?

A little surfing in Switzerland?

Paul César Distinguin went to test the new wave pool in Switzerland.

It's happening in Sion, at the Alaïa Bay site. The wave technology was developed by Wave Garden

So he jumped into 8°C water, the opportunity to test (and approve) his custom 4/3mm suit in premium limestone neoprene (grey and burgundy) and also a 4/3mm in Japanese Yamamoto #40 neoprene (the black one in the video).

We loved the short video clip produced by the Surfing Vox blog and encourage you to check out PC's interview about this wave pool. The interview revisits the wave pool debate, and as you'll see, it's a topic that requires taking a step back and considering surfing as a whole. Paul-César offers some points for reflection and debunks some common misconceptions, making this an interview worth reading to further develop your understanding of the subject.

A surf trip to Switzerland soon?
