A brief summary of this week at Fronton King, the last stage of the World Bodyboard Tour on the famous Canary wave.

The final day of competition should take place on Tuesday with the final stages in which our French players Pierre Louis Costes , Maxime Castillo and the local favorite Amaury Lavernhe, who is impressive in each of his appearances, will participate.
A special mention for our French players this year:
Yon Aimar and Ethan Capdeville delivered committed and clean surfing until the last round but unfortunately will not make it to the final day of competition.
Txomin Lopez launched into a wild left hook that landed him in the hospital for a short stay. A bold move that certainly made an impression that day.
We also noted the excellent performance of Robin Legros , who came through the trials and displayed a very aerial style of surfing, always impressive at Fronton. He was a real treat.
Alex Castillo, Simon Andrieux, Irwin Cloarec, Fabien Thazar and the young Merlin Greze also braved tough conditions at Fronton with less success.
See you Tuesday for the final day of competition. Note that Pierre Louis and Maxime will be in the same man-on-man heat. We'll also find out who the 2022 World Champion will be!
