The big news of this year 2024 in the world of bodyboarding is the arrival of Pierre Louis Costes at the legendary brand Morey Bodyboards.
Everyone has been talking about it since the announcement last February.
To mark the occasion, an iconic model from the brand is being released this May in an ultra limited edition (only 24 boards, available at the best Morey retailers in Europe only).
For the occasion, a Morey Mach 7-7 has been redesigned by Pierre Louis and the Legacy Bodyboarding team (the European team that distributes Morey). The board retains the original design elements: black and orange color scheme, prints with period fonts, and a Morey Boogie rainbow sticker on the slick. Pierre Louis and Jérémy Arnoux of Legacy have developed a board with a modern construction—PP/stringer/mesh/surlyn—and a new template that will appeal to all generations of riders.
We created a custom wetsuit for Pierre Louis, matching the colors of his board, in a 180zip version. The result is stunning, and here's the video clip of this collaboration.
