Thursday, March 19th.
First of all, I hope you are well and that you have all taken the necessary measures for your protection and that of your loved ones.
Today I wanted to give an update on the situation at Sen No Sen during this difficult time when we are all impacted by the Coronavirus epidemic.
Following the measures taken by the government, here is how I have chosen to organize the next steps as far as we are concerned:
- The Moulleau store has been closed since Saturday, March 14th, to protect our customers and team, until further notice. Our staff are therefore on furlough and safely at home.

- Our team is now working remotely for tasks that can be performed from home.

- The website is functioning normally , and we are able to process all orders placed through it. We have removed several items to make things easier for our staff, and we will be adding more gradually. Please note that we have received the new Yulex natural rubber suits.

Our logistics providers are still ensuring the preparation and shipment of orders. They are working with reduced staff, some of them remotely, and the number of people in stockrooms reduced to the bare minimum with no physical contact and essential health and safety rules in place.
As our teams are not fully staffed, orders may sometimes take two or three days longer than usual. In any case, our customer service is operational, and for any questions, you can write to store@sennosen.com
Due to a restriction of activity by La Poste, delivery times are longer but deliveries are still guaranteed.
We have already received messages of support. Fortunately, the government has deployed a range of aid measures for small businesses to help the brand get through this difficult period and weather the storm.
Our business model is designed to avoid overproduction, to be flexible and responsive to customer demand. But the arrival of this crisis was swift and brutal, and we were unable to prepare for it.
For now, the priority is to follow the guidelines so we can end this crisis as quickly as possible. Let's stay home and, above all, let's not go surfing! I think this is the first time in my life I've said this, and I hope it's the last.
Take care of yourself and your loved ones.
During this period of confinement, I will share with you some ideas for activities to pass the time in a more pleasant way!
