Tips for maintenance and use:
Textile:
In order to keep your clothes as long as possible, it is important to take good care of them.
First of all, wash cold or in a machine at 30°c, but above all avoid the dryer. Keep your clothes dry in a closet.
We use high quality fabrics, so it is important to follow the care instructions. It is normal that some 100% cotton garments may shrink a little when first washed, but they should not shrink more than usual if handled properly.
When you put a top on a hanger, put the hanger on the bottom and never on the collar to avoid pulling on the collar.
Never "pull" on a garment, imagine you are wearing a sheet of paper and be careful not to tear it.
If one day you have a tear, think of having it repaired by a seamstress, for a few euros, your clothes will be operational again.
Once you don't wear them anymore, rather than throwing them away, have the reflex to give them a second life. There are places where you can drop off your old clothes: the Red Cross, Emmaus, Secours Populaire... find out more on the Net by simply typing "where to give my clothes" on Google.
Surfing suits:
Do not "undercut".
We can often see customers taking a size that is a little tight, thinking "it's soft, it will relax". Except that if you don't take the right size, the neoprene will be tense and will work the seams. The risk is therefore to have problems of seams quickly.
Rinse your wetsuit with fresh water after surfing when you have the opportunity at the beach or at home while showering.
NEVER let your wetsuit dry in the sun. The sun will stiffen the neoprene and make it more fragile. Instead, let the wetsuit dry in the shade if it's outside or at home in the bathroom or garage.
Do not leave it wet on a hanger to avoid relaxing the shoulders.
Of course, no washing machine or swimming in a pool because chlorine is not very good for the colors of the suit.
Be careful when putting on the suit and when changing, not to step on the suit or pull too hard.
If you follow all these tips, you can keep your suit for many years.
Don't forget that you can also have your old suit repaired (estimate on request), that you can give it to a young person or to an association.
